Course Content
The Mindfulness–Based Stress Reduction Program is an intensive six or eight-week training program designed to empower participants in taking an active role in the management of their health and well being. Each class meets weekly for 2 hours and includes a full Day of Mindfulness on the Saturday of the sixth week. Participants are asked to practice mindfulness meditation and/or mindful yoga for 30-45 minutes a day. The first of 4 Instructional CDs will be given to participants following the first class.
Our MBSR program includes:
- Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices
- Gentle stretching and introductory mindful yoga
- Group discussion and :dialogue
- Daily homework assignments of 30-45 minutes
- Four CDs and a workbook
- A full Day of Mindfulness
