Why Learn Mindfulness Meditation Practices?
Scientific evidence reveals that we can add neurons to the parts of our brain that are most active when we feel happy and alert. Evidence shows that MBSR grads have done this. Happy people, it turns out, live longer, achieve more success, maintain stronger relationships and lead healthier lives. These are pretty good reasons to devote six weeks of your life to this program. Mindfulness meditation is happiness training. It is not about trying to empty the mind of all thoughts. Rather, it's about learning how not to get caught up in the same-old-stories that are constantly filling our minds; stories that often result in unhealthy feelings and reactions. It’s about training our minds to choose healthy responses to life’s stressors.

MBSR 8 week program includes:
• Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices
• Gentle stretching and introductory mindful yoga
• Group dialogue
• Daily homework assignments
• 4 CDs and a practice manual
• Full Day of Mindfulness
