Email Ayya at bhavanirodha@me.com
On the first Tuesday of each month, until November of 2026, there will be a 90 minute class on an aspect of bhavana (mental cultivation) to guide you in establishing a regular meditation practice that will help you cultivate tranquility and with it, the establishment of non-reactive awareness in day-to-day situations. The classes on the first Tuesday of each month will be in person at Karuna Cottage in Gainesville, FL and also livestreamed on Google Meet. Other classes will be virtual only. Each class will include a one -hour meditation session followed by a meditation Q and A. This will be held on Google Meet from Bhava Nirodha Nilaya Dhammasālā in Fort White, FL. The meditation sessions will not be recorded.
Attendance at each class and session, while voluntary, is highly recommended. No registration is necessary, but the introduction is required of all participants. This was recorded and is available to new students.
There are no easy pathways to a state of tranquility and clear awareness. It involves personal energy, personal effort and a desire to understand. It involves sincere introspection. These classes are meant for sincere practitioners. They are open to everyone worldwide. They are offered free because the Dhamma is priceless.
