1) Monday Noon Guided Insight Meditation and

2) Beginners Mindfulness Meditation, both led by Nancy Lasseter.

They are currently online from  Karuna Cottage.

 Monday Noon Insight Meditation Online
Our Monday Noon gathering is very uplifting. The connections that we make, even just online with audio and video, are undeniably real. And valuable.
Even if you have never meditated, or had a  lousy experiences trying, or just can’t seem to get yourself to sit long enough to make it happen…join us anyway! What have you got to lose?
It’s each Monday at Noon for one hour. We sit for about 20 – 30 minutes, followed by our  reflective reading and a community sharing.
And this sitting stuff….It turns out to be pretty easy….if you let go of trying to make it a certain way and just let it be what it is….and Just keep noticing that you are breathing….and noticing that you are sitting…..resting….thinking….noticing this breath coming in…..going out, releasing…..

New meditators are recommended to join the Guided Beginners meditation online class (See description and link below) on Mondays 4:30 – 5:00 pm

UF Health Arts In Medicine Integrative Therapies
Guided Beginners Meditation with Nancy Lasseter
Zoom online on Mondays 4:30 – 5:00 pm
In the last four years, there’s been an awakening. We are collectively compelled to find new ways of understanding and dealing with our multiple stressors such as healthcare issues, relationship issues, work and study pressures, and cultural, political and global issues.
We can learn together how to create a safe refuge within our hearts, how to offer greater compassion for ourselves such that we can move forward in the best possible way with our lives and in harmony with all who inhabit our world. We can heal, we can cultivate  collective caring and compassionate ways of being and of taking action, of making choices that promote caring within and caring for all.
Come sit for a 30 minute retreat from your home  or office. This guided mindfulness meditation is led weekly by Nancy Lasseter, Senior Instructor for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction since 2004, UF Health Arts in Medicine Integrative Therapy Wellness Instructor, UF Mindfulness instructor,  past Mindfulness in Medicine teacher and co-founder of Karuna Cottage. Thank you for helping to spread the word so that we can all move through this in the best possible light.
