Dear friends,
Today is the day that we can, with fierce determination, decide that we are going to do what promotes our wellbeing. This might include joining our Mindful Meditation group for 30 minutes at 4:30, to let go of what is stuck in the mind and trapped in the body. Of course, we can’t make everything all better in this short time, but we can acknowledge that we are alive, that we feel this particular way at this moment, and have these thoughts and sensations. In other words, we can be present with compassion.
Do you wish to understand or be patient with others who are uneasy, irritable, depressed, anxious, who are dealing with their own challenges? This is where to start. From where we sit now. Learning to offer kindness to ourselves allows us to become like a mirror, reflecting out this kindness to others. This is how we bring peace to the world.
